Event “Setsubun 2013: Exterminate Ogres!”
“The town of Edo is infested with Ogres! Armed with your iron club and take on the mission!”
Granzella Inc. is pleased to announce that the “Setsubun 2013 Ogre Extermination!” event is to be held on the PlayStation Home platform for the PlayStation 3.
Granzella Inc. is delivering the service to all over the world, from Japan to North America, Europe, and Asia. This event will be held at in all the regions. (The start day will vary by region.)
About the Event: 
“Setsubun 2013: Exterminate Ogres!” is a Japanese style sword fighting game staged in the Edo period of Japan.
Players can customize their occupations such as armed warrior and Ninja, as well as their weapons and protective gears like swords and naginata upon taking on the mission to fight against the enemies.
In addition, the service will allow players to participate in the battle with up to eight other players online in multi-game mode.
This event is all about uniting players to save the town of Edo, which is now infested with evil Ogres, by hunting them down. Once they successfully defeat the Ogres, they will receive a variety of rewards that bring in luck to be exclusively available during this event.
I am the Org hunter! Hunt down as many Ogres as possible and get a limited reward!
When you successfully complete the stage by defeating the Ogres, you will gain “Ogre Extermination Points.” You will receive rewards that are only available during this event, such as Hannya Mask, Swimsuits with tiger pattern, and so on, according to the points you have gained in the battle.
In addition, the Ogre Extermination points you earn will be tallied up and posted on a ranking board that will be installed.
If you are ranked among the top 1000, you will receive a reward after the event.
These rewards are only available during the event in this lounge. The higher you rank in, the more rewards you will gain!
New Weapons will be available to defeat dreadful Ogres roaming the town at night!
New weapons “Iron club” and “Beans to drive away Ogres” – which are essential items to defeat Ogres- are now available!
“Iron club” has both massive destructive power and great protection against Ogres. It is so heavy that it may be a bit difficult to handle but this item is very effective for defeating Ogres. Also, by throwing the beans from the distance, you can stay away from the Ogres and attack them unilaterally.
Moreover, there will be even more powerful weapons to come during the event.

Please join the “Setsubun 2013: Exterminate Ogres” event and take on the mission to fend off evils and bring in luck!
Entry Procedure:
Anyone can participate in the mission of “Setsubun 2013 Ogre Extermination!” as long as they have PlayStation 3 with Internet access/connection.
- Start the PlayStation 3.
- Choose the “PlayStation Network” > “PlayStation Home” to start up.
- From “Public Lounge” > “Granzella Inc” , go to “Great Edo of Nippon” from which you can enter the world of “Setsubun 2013: Exterminate Ogres!”
When you take on the hunting mission, please check the signboard you can find at the end of the main street. For more information, please go to the event official website.

What is Setsubun?
In Japan, we have the tradition to celebrate “Setsubun” — which literally means to “divide seasons” –on February 3rd every year.
It is believed that evil spirits (ogres) will surge when the season changes. This ritual is practiced to drive them away by throwing beans.
